About Anam Cara Vacations
Finding Gratitude in Memories
Anam Cara Vacations founders Sheena Santos and Alexia Silva understand that memories of shared experiences provide comfort in difficult times. Growing up, they both spent carefree summers with their families at vacation cottages in New Hampshire’s White Mountain region. As adults, the experience of losing loved ones has made them grateful for the memories of these happy summers, which they keep close to their hearts.
They founded Anam Cara Vacations to provide families in need with no-cost vacations, which will allow the creation of paramount family memories to last a lifetime.
Our Mission
In Celtic philosophy Anam Cara means soul friend – a deep, personal connection based on authenticity, trust and respect. Our mission is to support families in need, who are suffering a loss or are grieving, with a peaceful space, where they can connect and grow together, by sharing their hearts and minds for renewed strength and inner healing.
